as all great things should and could last forever, it's time for the Backseat Boykie Blog to move onto different things... although this will be the last post for the BBB, most things dealing with the Womacks and their movement about the land will continue at FOLKS INC!!!, an ALL NEW, COOLER, AND MORE AWESOME BLOG.... ;) (yeah, it'll pretty much just be the same thing just a different name)...

I want to first thank the readers and contributors... from Art Week to Road Warrior Pics, to crazy weird photos of bugs... it has been a pleasure being the Backseat Boykie... but I'm not him anymore. I think Mr. Cody Carlson "Fleegur Flortleburg" (photographer, Neutral Milk Hotel Fan, emo kid, boykie) will take over the BB duties for the Fall '12 Womack Tour.

Secondly I want to thank the other original Backseat Boykie, Kevin Obermeyer (The KnockOut King of America)...I miss all the conversation and cigarette smoking in the backseat. He is a great friend, a wonderful kid, and a good musician... w/o his inspiration the Backseat Boykie Blog would've never happened. Thanks KO...In a future age (by:Wilco)

This song is good. "Fair" by The Ben Folds Five. We love it. It's kinda humorous and slightly serious, and has a fun chorus with some "ba-pa-pas".... All is fair in love.

Last Bird Home hit 38th today on the AMA Internet Chart and 91st on the Terrestrial, pretty amazing stuff boykie. There has been some serious work put into this project and career for Chris Castle and it's good to see some of his work paying off. I believe I speak for all the Womacks when I say, we are not only very proud of our work up to this point and happy to even be asked to be on such a record, but also very proud of how hard Chris has worked to see this through the right way. He's been going day and night cranking it out to the best of his ability. Top 40 is pretty rad dude... Hopefully the rest of the listeners, spinners, and reporters catch on to what's really going on here...

Funny, the article was claiming that Robin Van Persie (right) was going to move to Barcelona following Thierry Henry "The King" there in late 2008. Van Persie is still at the club, the captain, and finished 35 goals in the last calendar year...should be an interesting end to the season with Henry possibly coming back on a loan deal. The Japanese Maple

With winter fast approaching and everyone scrambling through the holidays, I am reminded of a thing that I love. For some weird reason, I don't hate Ohio. It's actually much the opposite...I often enjoy the idea of cold, brittle days where my bones hurt and my back is stiff. I told you that it sounds really weird and it is, really weird. In Ohio, we experience all of the seasons which is wild and crazy. In the beginning of August, it's too hot and in the middle of January, we all whine and moan about "when is summer going to get here?"...there's a moment in the fall where beauty is at a max with the Maples turning beautiful shades of sunset, and there's a shower in the spring that the sun shines through perfectly. We get a chance to enjoy a little bit of all of them. SOOOO...back to my point. When I see that the Japanese Maple on the corner of the house at Chestnut has turned to the most beautiful red, I know the cleansing of winter is coming...

Let the cleansing begin...
